As we have discussed, a system is hardly ever a static thing - it needs to be updated to remain relevant and effective.

A schedule of reviews should be an important part of maintaining the system.

An effective review should have the right people attending. It is no good having just the technical team present - management need to be there to authorise spending money and allocating resources, user groups should be there to provide proper feedback.

All factors should be considered so changes are planned in a orderly way. Factors include internal changes, external changes and performance.
